On Monday, I went to work with enthusiasm. I was wondering what challenges would I be facing. It is the first day I would be keying in reservations into the Fidelio system. However, my uncle gave me a bigger challenge to overcome. That is, his departure.Was quite busy when Mummy called. Renny had to leave the office for a while. So for that time, I was the Operator cum Reservations staff. Called her back when things settled down. I got to learn of the news.Immediately, I left the hotel. She came to fetch me. Went back to Auntie Daisy's home to meet Daddy to go to my uncle's house together.As we are unable to bring him home on that day, we were able to go home to have a rest. Went back to Auntie Daisy's house with Mummy.In the bus, spotted Elaine strolling around her house void deck. Met up with her for a short while. At 6.45pm, she left to meet Junda and me to meet HIM.Bought Burger King for him and we sit behind Dhoby Gauht MRT station to eat and talk.Early in the morning on Tuesday, went over to my uncle's place again. Helped to prepare stuff for the wake.For the past few days, I have been doing nothing but folding incense paper and collecting the pek kim money.Today, everything is over. Much tears is shed for him. He is the one who have been looking after me, doting on me since I was born.it is only now then I found out something. He is in favour of Indians.And, he has been asking me when I would get married.If only I had brought HIM to his place during Chinese New Year last year, I think that would be the best thing that I can do to make him happy. But now... It is too late for regrets... By staying by his side and accompanying him when he is on his last journey in life, I guess this is the only thing I can do to repay his love and care he had for me all this while.May he watch over his wife, son and all of us his relatives, protecting us from harm and guiding us as each day pass.

Was half-hearted about meeting Wendy today after work. Anyway, the meet up did not turn out to be that bad in the end.Due to the road block, she was late for almost an hour!!! Shopped around Marina Square shopping centre and chatted as we walked.After combing all the shops at level 3, we were left with the question of where to head to."Shall we have dinner?" She asked."What do you want to wat?" I replied.And guess what. Sakae Sushi was her answer!!! She is the girl I know who dislikes Japanese food. And now, she is suggesting to have it for dinner!!! No, she was not kidding. She has learnt to eat Japanese food and grown to have a liking for it already. Great! I have another khaki who I can ask to go and eat Japanese food with me next time!!!After dinner, I suggested to go somewhere to sit and chit chat. She wanted to go to a lounge. Thought of the one at One Fullerton. However, due to the National Day Parade rehersal, the pathway to One Fullerton is blocked!!! In the end, we were there to catch the fireworks!!!Second alternative was to go to a hotel lounge. We ended up at the Pan Pacific's. It is called The Atrium.Met this waiter who was chatting with me now and then. Not a bad chap. The best thing is, the place do have wasabi chips!!! Something which I liked very much but previously, I thought only the lounge in my hotel has it.Should there be anyone who I will be out with and are finding a place to sit and chat, that will be the place I would suggest. Ambience's nice... Singer's nice...Before we left, the waiter gave each of us a cup. It is in a very unique shape...I have been eating too much lately... Time to cut down and watch what I eat!!!

Received a very unexpected call yesterday. It was from ... ... MAGDELENE!!! She is back from Vietnam!!! Just for a few days only though...Since I know her in Amara, hearing her voice has never failed to brighten up my day. We can just chat about anything and everything and laugh heartedly together...It was a last minute decision to meet her with her in the evening.She came to my hotel for an interview. Since she was here already, I suggest that she wait for me till I end work for a short meet-up. We actually planned to meet up on Monday, a her house.She agreed... Her interview ended at 4pm. She went to Marina Square shopping centre for a walk till I left the hotel.Had her dinner at the foodcourt there, while I just had a cup of sugarcane juice. Was planning to go for dinner with HIM later in the evening, after he had finished his class.We parted at around 6.30pm. Headed to Plaza Singapura. Just went I reached the Dhoby Gauht MRT station, he messaged me. Goodness!!! I thought he had spotted me there. In the end, he just wanted me to buy some Indian snacks for him.Walked to Little India from there, to kill time... Had a craving for chocolates... Went into Watsons and came out with the chcolate, "Crunch"...Bought the snacks and head back to Plaza Singapura by foot... again...Priscilla called me. It was the first time I heard her crying so bitterly... so hard...I found out something which I had never knew for the past 6 or 7 years? Cannot remember how long have she and Edwin been together already...As usual, she cried because of something he did to her... Enough said...After meeting him, went to Lau Pa Sat (AS USUAL!!!) for dinner.It was really crowded yesterday. All tables in front of the whole stretch of satay stalls were filled up. We had to occupy the seat in front of the seafood food stall.Tried La-la... Nice! Now then I know, La-la is different of cockles!!! Silly fool...While walking to Amara, he told me about his silly acts when they were having a Fire Drill practice. It was the first time, after so long, that I was able to laugh so heartedly... was able to really laugh out loud and hard... I guess my reaction had planted a smile on his face then... I know... He wants to see me happy... But...Passed by Aiwo. Water was flowing out from the shop. No one was around... What I did? Called 999!!! In the end, the policewoman said I should call the PUB instead!!! However, before I ended the call with her, we saw 2 security guards walking towards the stall. Seconds later, 2 ladies ran to the shop from across the road. I guess they must be working in that shop.We then continue our walk to Amara...
